wait wait wait!! i know what youre thinking, and youre right. why let halo get tarnished like that. but for real i think that if 343 were to let or even go so low as to request that master chief be used as a fortnite skin (or a skin in any popular series), streamers, and just people as a whole would see halo more. perhaps it could aid in popularity. now i understand that the idea is a little dumb. but allowing slightly more popular franchises to display your own can only really help with community growth. feel free to disagree
It’s a no from me dawg.
Halo is a pretty serious franchise that tackles some pretty dark subjects. Fortnite is a fun-loving and cartoonish franchise. The two just don’t mix all that well imo. When 343 and Coalition worked on a joint marketing gimmick with Gears 5, it made sense. The two are Microsoft products that take place in similarly serious franchises. Something like this is just a bit too far off the mark. I understand that pure exposure can be beneficial from a marketing standpoint, but the theme and tone of both franchises generally have to mesh for it to work well.
that’s uh that’s a disgrace to master chief in my honest opinion or any spartan in fact because I don’t want to see a battle hardened super solider who fought humanitys most dangourous threat with death, loss of hope, sorrow, despair and then does dance.
I see where you are coming from, with being basically free advertising, but it has a high chance of advertising to a 7 year old about Halo’s dark lore.
I think 343 would put Chief in their own BR game before putting him in Fortnite.
I’d be completely okay with that. Heck, I’d buy the skin! Halo might have “dark lore” but John Wick is in the game (violent movie) and they had a crossover with Stranger Things (not exactly kid-friendly) so I don’t see the lore of Halo being an issue.
I say no that game is so bad that Chief shouldn’t be in it. I am suprised that Epic games hasn’t copied something from Halo yet at all at least not that I know of.

Supposedly the shotgun in Fortnite and some mech suit bear a striking resemblance to the Halo shotgun and the Mantis. Though to be fair, it’s a bit much to claim a pretty standard looking shotgun was ripped off by another company that made another standard looking shotgun.
Regardless I agree with you that Chief shouldn’t be in it. The only BR 343 is interested in is the Battle Rifle and Beam Rifle… which is almost exactly what they said when BR was brought up a few months ago.
Going to have to be a solid no from me as well. While I don’t have an negative bias against ‘Fortnite’ (I used to casually play it with mates), an undeniable truth about the game is that a majority of the game’s player base is composed of children. Halo has always been a franchise targeted towards a more mature audience with a variety of dark topics and scenario’s having been explored throughout. Simply play ‘ODST’ or read through the ‘Forerunner’ saga for great examples of this. While it’s true that ‘John Wick’ made it into ‘Fortnite’, a protagonist from a fairly dark series of movies, this happened very early on during the game’s lifespan, while the audience was still much more mixed when it came to age. As things presently stand I can’t imagine it being too great of an idea.
I don’t even play Fortnite but that would be cool. Please use the Infinite armour. They should do that with more characters too, honestly. A Kratos skin would be awesome.

The mech does look some what like the mantis but the shotgun is fine.
No, I don’t want Master Chief to be known as Fortnite Guy from kids
I think it’d be cool to see the Master Chief as a character in Fortnite. There have been a few big name appearances in Fortnite such as Marshmello, Batman, Starlord, Black Widow, and Hooper from Stranger Things. Why not add some appearances from other big name series?
I think the brand of Halo doesn’t match the brand of Fortnite and I do not see it happening. Halo is more adult oriented while Fortnite is more kid oriented, plus EPIC isn’t a part of Microsoft nor do they have much affiliation with Microsoft outside of their games existing (non-exclusively) on their consoles.
I will cast a big vote of HELL NO.
interesting idea but I would have to side with no
Don’t want to see it.
Also, Having (Halo) Spartan even as a skin in any franchise would be a boon for that franchise. What does Halo get out of it?
Answer: nothing. The only people who care would be those who already play Halo.
No Thanks
I have to vote no on this as well.
Big no for me. Don’t want to see Chief doing the floss dance.
