Before you flame me. This is referring to Trials of Osiris.
We have rotating playlists, right? Why not add a weekend playlist of Doubles that gives you a certain amount of wins you have to do in a row to unlock a wicked piece of armor or skins.
I also would like to add, that I do like the Req system. I’m a long time Halo fan, since CE. Halo 4 ruined it for me until I actually played H5, so now I’m back. But even with the chance to get armor through packs, we need armor and skins to aim for. Whether it be hitting Onyx, or achieving all the skulls in campaign, we need something on top of it (like Achilles).
Anyone who’s played, or is familiar with, ToO can see what I’m coming from. It’ll bring more players to Halo.
I believe Breakout is meant to be Halos attempt at dealing with the Trials of Osiris, they could make it more similar by giving increased XP or RP awards based on how many victory’s you get but that might not go down well.

I think he means wins in Matches, not rounds as in Breakout.
ToO had different tiers of rewards based on how many wins you had up to nine.
Lose three matches and you had to start over.
I don’t see this as a bad idea either, it’d be quite interesting to test. We have lots of different REQs at the moment to choose from as rewards.

I’m not talking the game type really, more of the reward system.
And I’m not saying switch it out every week. Say you have to win 10 in a row to unlock a specific piece of armor or skin. Have a random drop out of like 10 pieces each.
I actually agree, Destiny PvP isn’t too great, but I have a blast when I get a full team and play Trials, but since the launch of Halo 5 all my friends have been playing Halo instead including me, so to have something like that in Halo would be awesome!
If you would’ve said PvE, I’d agree. The only thing I really like about Destiny is doing missions with friends, or just unwinding while going on patrol.
