Halo: Shadow of Reach Hardcover?

So I just went to pre-order Shadows of Reach and cannot find a Hardcover edition anywhere. I would have thought with both Oblivion and Silent Storm being available in that edition that SoR would be too! Its just not going to look right on the shelf if I have to get a paperback…:rofl:

Has anyone else come across this?

Yes, unfortunately no word on the hardcover.

I have also looked online, I can’t find any mention of it. I will buy it either way, but I would love for a hardcover edition to go along with Silent Storm and Oblivion.

I am just going to wait til closer to release date to pre-order and hopefully a hardcover edition pops up.

I have no doubt there will be a hardcover edition coming out as well. I guess I’m weird though… I prefer the paperback. I can fit more books on my limited shelf space. When I hopefully have the funds to knock my house down and build a nicer one on top, I might set up a whole gaming room with bookshelves for all this stuff… The fiance (wife next week!) is getting a home office, so I think I can strike a deal for a game room…

Other married folks on here… what are my chances on that one??

Speaking of cover, what annoys me is I got the Walmart edition for “Sacrifice” and they literally printed the “Walmart Edition Exclusive Bonus Material” sticker on the cover instead of putting a sticker on it. Just ruins that beautiful artwork :rage:

Sacrifice takes place on the ark after Awakening of the Nightmare, telling the story of The Banished trying to recover a slipspace crystal fragments from the Dreadnought, which somewhat goes back to the crystal flakes in First Strike, in which they encounter a faction of the Covenant that was hiding out for 7 years.
