This isnt about “its bad!” or “its good -Yoink!-!”
this is about how the fact these armors have waaaay too much familiarity to all of them, Drengr thyra and valdemar are straight lifted from skyrim as they look like the iron helmet and steel plate.
The rest of them have a familiarity to them all, i cant shake the feeling ive seen these from somewhere before.
also gonna be honest the fact its named odd ones out but they didnt use anything from the halo legends animated shows since it HAS an episode named odd one out and is 10 times better with being faithful is a travesty
Holy smokes! The likeness is uncanny! I already voiced my opinions against these armors, and I’m pretty burnt out about it. I don’t really care so much to say any more. I won’t ever use them and I don’t mind if others like them. Halo can go wherever creative liberty will take it. I guess. And as for me, I will continue enjoy Halo for what it’s worth.

I’m like, totally fine with this. Bethesda products and Halo are both Microsoft exclusive products under the same roof now so they can do this, lmao.
It is literally within the realm of possibility to see subtle nods to DOOM and it wouldn’t even be crossing any legals.
I think that’s the point. Xbox owns Bethesda now. So, we are probably going to see many more cross-overs in Halo. I wouldn’t be surprised if we start seeing some Doom inspired sets.

How are Templar and Skeleton armor sets not Doom inspired?

yeah but with hayabuza they at least made it in the style of halo and not just straight copy and paste stuff.
After seeing the pictures of Season 8’s armor, I can truly say that its, uh… its erm… Something… I’ll go with that! Even so though, I never cared about the customization quite as much as game features like CGB or Game changing features, Etc. Also, I have no problem with the new armor, but it’s something that you probably won’t ever see me use whatsoever.
Edit: Actually, after getting a closer look at the armors, there are a few I actually like. With that said though, These armors are very different from the normal sets, But different isn’t always bad. So maybe you will see me use some after all!

Well for one, both Templars and Skeletons actually existed sooo ya
I think its a testing bed for infinite. i just hope they have a ‘Fractures’ toggle.
I dont hate the new armours; on the contrary i think that they are realy intresting and i think that most of them look like they could fit into the game but i would still like [in infinite] for there to be a toggle for fractures purely for that 'leaked snowman armor,.
