Ever since updating my Lenovo Ultrabook to Windows 8.1, Halo: Spartan Assault won’t load. The game logo screen flashes through as normal and then just blackness…screen stays black with no action, no loading, no nothing.
I think an uninstall and re-install might be worth a try, but I was hoping for some reassurance that my cloud save as synced with my Windows Phone 8 will put my progress back where I am now…

Hey Pyro, sorry about the delay, we wanted to confirm a few things.
Uninstalling will remove the local save, but the cloud save will be fine. Removing the local save, however, will affect things like challenge progress.
As you have updated OS, you may also want to make sure that all of your drivers are up to date now as well.
I took a chance on the uninstall and reinstall, and it still doesn’t work. Same issue…starts up, logo screen appears and disappears, black screen stays and game never loads.
Disappointed that I have lost my challenge progress, but also disappointed that even after a reinstall the game still doesn’t play.
I have latest updated video drivers, but what other drivers would even matter? I can try to update everything I think of, but if you have any tips, it would be appreciated.
Updated ALL available drivers that were newly listed for my Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 from their support site.

Um…never mind I guess? I started the game today randomly just to try it and it WORKS! Must have been an update released or something, but its working so I’m not complaining!
