what if 343i came out with a halo fps rpg? general thoughts on the idea of Master Chief exploring through a covenant/unsc battleground, leveling up, that sort of thing.

There’s a discussion in the Halo Universe forums about a Covenant centered campaign. My contribution was an idea for a Sangheili focused RPG, where you’d start as an Elite Minor at the beginning of the Human Covenant War, and work your way through the ranks and the War, finally ending the game with the Battle of the Ark.
That’s what I’d like to see if there were a Halo RPG. As cool as a Spartan-base RPG would be, it wouldn’t fit with the fiction of the Spartans.

I’ve been wanting a Covie campaign since Halo 2. I had hoped Bungie or 343 would take the opportunity present in Reach for some campaign DLC, but sadly, that was not the case. With the inclusion of Spartan Ops, I don’t have much hope for a Covie story in Halo 4.
Who knows, though. Maybe in the future.
They should have a covenant based campaign as dlc for halo 4, they did it for GoW3 and it wasnt tooooooo bad. It could be like 4-5 hours long for 15 bucks I’d buy
