I want to start a roleplaying clan/army for Halo, one to honour the true fanboys of the Halo Series and its universe. I’ve led clans before, but they fell through eventually because the casual gamers really didn’t commit too well.
You’ll be joining UNSC NavSpecWar Tactical Armoured Group (TAG), a group of Spartan IVs specialising in Siege and Armoured Vehicular Warfare.
A naval chain of command will exist, with members of the unit split into 8 man squads and 4 man teams. All members will be trained in squad tactics, evasion, team driving, covering and communicating via party chat and game chat tools.
Our main gametype will be Big Team Slayer, while we will have many practice sessions in custom variants.
This clan will be all about dedication to the game you love, playing it how it should be played and meeting and working as a team with new people.
If you are interested, please make sure you have a mic, are prepared to adopt a Halo style military perspective and enjoy playing Big Team Slayer and Objective variants!

You have a navy chain, please say that’s not what I think it is. As I’ve seen many clans actually create boats (on reach) in forge, and boast about their naval power…yeah seriously.

Umm no? Navy ranks as in the UNSC… Space? Halo?
Master Chief is a naval rank. It is a Halo clan, not a re-enactment of Pearl Harbor.
Army ranks don’t quite suit Spartans, seeing as they were created by the Office of NAVAL intelligence.

And yet SPARTAN-I’s were a mix of Marines and other special forces, Avery Johnson being one of them.
As I am one who has actually served active duty in the military, and between my military career and current career I have been working in a career involving pulling triggers on real weapons IRL for 20 years now, I can tell you a Marine is part of the Navy.
Marines are stationed on ships to defend them against boarding parties, and to board enemy ships. Also, to stage amphibious invasions.
Next; check out the origin of the word “marine” - it kind of has something to do with water…
In the United States military the Marines belong to the Department of the Navy, and a Marine exhibiting heroism in combat not quite to the degree of the Congressional Medal of Honor earns a Navy Cross for his or her heroism.
On a side note to the OP - casual gamers CAN commit.
