Halo 3 was the last game we were official on a Halo ring. Halo 4 only showed Installation 03 from a distance but we never actually stepped foot on the ring. So who would want to be put back on a Halo ring in Halo 5 Guardians in the campaign?
The way the campaign ia setting up to be… no.
I’d rather explore newer places, or ones with much more significance (the Ark) in the current story. There’s so much expanding in Halo’s story right now… I’d rather not hold it back by sending us to yet another ring for some reason.

human colonies, alien planets, forerunner crypts, glassed planet, covenant out post and what sound like district 9 in Rio… no ive seen enough ring worlds… they all look the same anyway
Honestly it felt like bungie was out of ideas for important places on rings considering all 3 games were pretty much control rooms, cartographers, random temples, and the library (and its exterior). Even the ark was the same.
As long as the story still has something relating to them, I think it’s fine. I’d rather that then randomly having stuff happen on the ring because stuff has to happen on a ring.
If there is something unique on the ring, then sure. If it’s fully mountainous, or full of lava (Installation 04) then sure. If it’s the same as Halos 1 and 2, then no thanks.
Pegasus and Orion are on a halo. So technically we already have.

I meant in the campaign I already know the multiplayer does.
Ive noticed a lot of people complaining that they dont want anything to do with halo rings anymore. I would like to point out something: what is the name of this game? Oh right, HALO. So, the rings are kind of the entire plot of the entire series. It doesnt matter how far away we get, they will always come back.
Yeah, if you can’t have a ring (there is actually one shown if you beat the campaign on Legendary), you might as well change the FRANCHISE’S name because, gee whiz, that’s where it comes from…
