In halo 5’s legendary ending you see a halo ring drifting in space (obviously) but also you see the professor fly into space in a halo ring at the end of halo wars 2, my theory is that the halo ring the professor used is the same ring in halo 5’s ending. this is my first forum post so please give me feed back and thank you for taking time to read my theory.

Probably is. There’s at least 6 others we know of in the galaxy. One was glassed, one was destroyed (twice) but has been replaced.
Honestly? We won’t know until Halo 6, and speculation is pointless. You’ll just get disappointed
Could be, but Ander’s Halo was stopped en route to the Soell system whereas the ring at the end of Halo 5 is already by a planet. Guess it could have been stopped there, but I don’t think it’s all that important.
That would be a good way to bring the Halo Wars 2 cast into Halo 6. I’ve been thinking this for a while, I just never posted on it.

Yea, I also have been thinking they were going to try and bring the two together as well. Otherwise, why would they go out of their way to make sure a bunch of people know that Halo Wars 2 ends slightly after the Halo 5 time line?
I think you might be onto something with Wars 2 and Halo 6 coming together. Cortana has control of the Ring system as well as the whole Forrunner tech Array. But to have A Halo back in Halo…no…thats unpossible…
Halo 6 Speculation is good! As two years on there are no follow up books\comics\movies\anything…please 343 throw us a bone besides “Split screen is returning and focused on Chief” and maybe return of Iconic art style and Cortana might have the Flood logic plague.
Guys, I’m pretty sure that’s what 99% of people think. Cortana was most likely the one who initiated the slipspace travel that brought the Spirit of Fire to the Ark in the first place, and she did capture the ring with a Guardian.
