First thing, I play on steam. I wanted to do a brand new run since there was no way for me to recollect the audio logs. I learned where the save data was and moved it out to restart. That worked, but now nothing that I do actually saves. I tried messing with steam cloud, moving the original file back in, verifying integrity of the game files, deleting the entire save folder but that just made it worse, now my settings don’t save either. Tried completely reinstalling the game, still doesn’t work.
The interaction goes like this: I start the game and click New Game, I play through any amount of the game, I stop playing, I launch it again later, despite it having my saves before I closed the game now it only says New Game again. Does anyone have any ideas to help me?
