Halo Req Strategy

Is there any point in doing the bronze, silver then gold strategy?

It saves a lot of REQ points and time. I read in one a post from here that going silver and then gold is 1,5 million REQ points cheaper.

It can perhaps benefit you to unlock lower level (common uncommon) certifications without using 10k per gold pack.

hmm, I might go silver then gold

i was doing bronze, but tbh, do you realy unlock commons in golds? and if you do its not perm?

Yes; you do. You can unlock permanent common items from Gold Packs.

There is actually a post here by Myala, got a common AR unlock out of a gold pack.

Guys I can’t even access the req system in game, it says the service is unavailable?

and honestly i’d buy bronze until most of the common armors and helmets are unlocked, then bump up to silver.

I’ve done alot of bronze but i prefer doing silver
you can get common AND uncommon’s out of the way

I am actually changing my tactic now after over 3 days of total H5 playtime. I’m a lvl 44 and exclusively bought Gold packs…big mistake. I’m on the silver banwagon now because it guarantees two permanent unlocks. Using my original strategy only yielded me with a handful of legendary unlocks and I think the reason is because I have so many lower level reqs I had yet to attain. Granted, I think I am nearly 1/3 through the collection on average not including emblems. Kind of a bummer but regardless better to adjust my strategy now late rather than never. Do do as I did, like many have been advocating, go silver then gold.

bronze’s are useless until you’re like rank 152 and have all uncommons++

so yeah, i agree

silver is best, however is there any way to know when you should switch over? other than manually looking?

It seems down for now. Will most likely be back up later.

Start with Bronze to get all commons, then Silver to get all the Uncommon to Rare and then Gold to get the Ultra Rare to Legendary. It is not hard to understand why this is both faster and cheaper. Why ever spend 10000 points on a gold pack when there are just a tiny chance you will get an Ultra Rare or Legendary. It´s a much larger chance of just getting 2 commons, and that you would get with half the money from a Silver pack. And for even less money from Bronze packs since you get 4 Bronze packs for the price of a Silver pack and you get a permanent 3 out of those 4.

Hmm should i keep on bronze then?

ill just start bronze, then silver and then gold

yeye

I stay with gold(no matter what there is a chance to get spezial stuff and i want it)and sometimes silver.
