Halo related drawing ideas

So I want to draw a halo related piece but im running flat on some creative inspiration.

Originally I was thinking of doing an Emile X Monster Hunter crossover piece like a heavy gunner but that might make people think it’s a Jorge clone. So please spot your ideas to me down below and I will pick one to do and post it into the “Creations” Forum!

Im gunning for a badge so don’t let me down with the ideas B)

If you’re looking for something involving Emile, then I have this picture in my head of Emile throwing a knife. Then on the reflective surface of the knife, you see an Elite roaring as the blade nears his throat.

For other random inspiration:

  • Linda shooting Elites out of Banshees with one hand while hanging upside down - The Nova Bomb detonating as it destroys Glyke (or the other Nova Bomb seen in Ghosts of Onyx) - The Elites glassing Delta Halo to cauterize the Flood infestation on the ring - Some random civilian running from New Mombasa as the Covenant makes landfall (maybe put Sadie Endesha in background) - An image of the bridge crew of a Covenant ship just after the Fall of Reach. I’ve often wondered what that would look like in the wake of such a victory for the Covenant. You could have some nav officer in the background pointing to the screen showing the Truth and Reconciliation making a slip space jump while the rest of the bridge crew toasts to victory

My suggestions would be

  • Kurt-051 at his last stand facing the Elite before detonating the nuke - Will-043 in hand to hand combat, punching and grabbing fists full of Hunter worms - Red Team scattered across Reach’s sky as they free fall to the ground at terminal velocity - Family picture of Jacob Keyes, Dr. Halsey, and a child Miranda Keyes, but the picture is torn where Halsey is standing - A Marine trying to push a Flood infection form off his arm while terrorized and surrounded by a dozen more

My Suggestions would be;

  1. Cortana and the gravemind - little hologram with the massive gravmind in the background
  2. Grunts and Brutes having tea with master chief (As a moral Joke)
  3. Ive always liked the picture of chief landing in the battle field then diploying a bubble shield. So maybe something like that?
  4. ODST dropping behind enemy lines with the covenant facing their backs towards them

If you want to do Emile, then maybe do him replicating the “If They Came To Hear Me Beg” achievement, perhaps with a confused Noble 6 standing on the cliff behind him. Or, you could do him grinning behind his helmet as he operates the MAC cannon in the last level of Reach. Hope that helps!
