Why hello there. If you are reading this then I’m guessing you’re wondering " what is Recovery Four?". Well we are here to tell you.
A group of my buddies and I decided we are going to make a show dedicated to Halo. Now I now what your thinking, Oh another no-body here to advertise his mediocre show. No, we are simply here to get opinions.
Our show (not giving out major plot details as things are sure to change as time goes by.) will consist around the first Halo Trilogy (Halo 1, 2, and 3) and the idea if Master Chief had indeed died on Halo. With the lack of Spartans, the UNSC is forced to rush the Spartan IV program and are now open to test subjects. Four soldiers are chosen, 1 ODST and 3 Marines, to conduct in the surgeries.
These Four “Spartans” (which are now known as the task force “recovery”) now take the place of your humble Master Chief and take on the Covenant full force in there adventures throughout the show.
The show will be a web series and each episode 10-15 minutes long. It will be fully composed of CGI animation, so no in -game or live action. At our current development stage, we seasons 1 and 2 written and have the a good portion of the character models created and working. As we do not want any imagery shown yet, there is no picture for you to see our work. However, a good comparison would be the webs series Red vs Blue. Our animations and models right now are about as smooth and dynamic as theirs is and we try to use the same lighting effects. But things are do to change and we will probably come farther than that.
Due to the extensive amount of time this takes up and amount of work put into it, we do expect for the show to be near it’s final form in 2016. Two years before (assuming 343i takes the same pace as bungie) Halo 6 is released, the last Halo game. The show will be released to the public in 2018, to celebrate the last of Halo’s years and to help bring back the magic it once possessed.
The process is going well, except for the name… we don’t think it fits right but can’t come up with another. Got a better one? Post it.

Cool. Spartan IV’s train on the ship, and at the time you are doing the Machinima at, the ship isn’t completed yet, so why not have the first Spartan IV squad embody the Infinity.
In other words represent the ship. Of course, if you think the fits the title do to another reason use that reason.
Edit: However on the music subject. If we feel like composing our own music instead, that will happen. We will be sure to give it Halo feel. No WUB WUB WUB here
Sounds very cool, you had me at CGI. Also the story is an interesting twist on the halo universe. My only issue is 2018 is ways away lol… To be honest im not going to remember this a year from now. Would there be anyway you guys could accelerate this process? Im sure its very difficult to make but thats far off into the future

Nah, it’s catchy and in reality, halo is infinate with possibilities. I mean we are going back and re-writing the story basically for Halo. Plus it fits with something import down the road in the story line (classified)

Lol, I will post on here weekly of our progress and some hints at the story, even the script for the first episode soon. I’ll make sure you won’t forget :3 We are trying everything we can to speed up the process. But we want it to look top of the line, sound top of line, etc.

Good to hear, just stay dedicated. 6 years is a long time to be dedicated to this. Maybe if you do a good enough job you can partner with 343i like the 405th did at Halo fest. Good luck guys, i look forward to hearing updates.

It’s and estimate based on what we want… nothing is set in stone.

Awesome, glad the name I suggested fits for an entirely different reason. Good luck. I’ll keep my eyes out for it.
Though Halo: Infinity is a great name, I would stick with just Recovery 4, just because between now and 2018, some one is bound to make a Machinima called Halo: Infinity
