Hello, I just installed halo reach but not the other halo games on MCC. And every time I try to go to a match like Forge or multiplayer and even campaign, it says that Halo Reach campaign and or multiplayer isn’t installed. So I go to the installation for all of the games on MCC and it says installed for Halo Reach. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Do I need to download all the halo games before playing halo reach?

You shouldn’t need to download any of the other games. Now Forge I’m not sure if that’s working for Reach just yet so that might be your issue.

I tried reinstalling and it hasn’t worked.
I just had a similar issue with this for any part of accessing Reach, I have it installed but cannot access any piece of Reach content on Xbox. I think if you have the old versions that was overwritten in todays update, you may need to reinstall the whole collection as a brand new download.

Yep can confirm this works. I think having the new update overwriting the old one causes issues with Reach glitching access in this case. It seems this has happened before in previous updates with new content to be installed months ago.
I think I have the same issue. I have the 360 Reach installed and updated on my XB1 but when trying to access Reach on MCC I’m directed to the marketplace to purchase Reach DLC yet I already have it. Is uninstalling MCC and reinstalling it the only option to solve the problem?

You’ll need to get the addon for MCC. The old halo reach won’t work for MCC because its not a remaster. The addon is $10 but its worth it in my books. But if you have gamepass its free.

I assumed this is why the update was so large. I suppose Reach could be around 40 gigs, but I assumed some of the update was for the base a MCC as well.
For me, halo CE was downloaded first while MCC was updating, reach as the last halo to be installed for me but games working good for me so far.
I’ve installed the game twice and can’t get passed the title screen just freezes after i hit start and the loading circle stops moving

Did you delete the old version before updating it or as a brand new download?

Not sure what you mean I uninstalled my MCC from my xbox then reinstalled 2 times now and nothing works. Never saw any update should be installing the most recent version i would assume.

Yea
Idk if it fixed for you but Microsoft is aware of the issue and until they fix it certain people won’t be any to play it on Xbox or windows store. Steam works tho. Hopefully they fix it soon
I had to buy the updated version cause the xbox kept saying i did not own the game even tho i did this was back when pre orders for reach went live.
When i turned the xbox one x on the game update was not downloading so i had to uninstall it but when i did it said i still had to buy mcc so i had to reset the xbox twice before it showed as owned and in the ready to install tab and then i at last started to reinstall MCC it is 94.19GB started at 4:30am took till 1:30pm.
That was all on the 4th.
