Alright, so my live ran out a few days ago, and I’m gonna wait until mid July to renew it. Now I need to know what halo reach is without live. How do I get credits? I googled it and got do forge and firefight and all, but when I do those I barely get anything (about 96 a pop) unless I get a commendation or daily challenge. I don’t want to go on forge for hours and just leave the xbox on and come back later. in my eyes that is just cheating and I want a clean hard earned credit score. So, any advise would be helpful 
weeeell not sure how many credits you actually get but a good time killer is to go on long night of solace and never go in the base, just fight the waves of baddies. Easy way to boost your campaign commendations.

You can only earn credits from just having your games in Campaign,Firefight, Custom Games & Forge last a while, similar to playing on Xbox LIVE, you can’t do challenges, get your Commendations up or anything like that.
The people who do it in Firefight and such don’t have an Xbox LIVE membership to begin with, meaning their accounts get tons of credits normally.

what do you mean by that? why can’t I do challenges or get commendations up? o.O
and how come they get more than if you have an xbox live account?

Whoops, completely mis-read, you are still going to connected to Xbox LIVE but just not with a Gold Membership?
Regardless, if you never sign up to Xbox LIVE, you don’t get access to Challenges, Commendations and all that, so Bungie made it so you get a TON more credits offline to make up for it.

oh yeah, I’ll still be connected. That makes alot more sense now. So basically just finish the campaign on heroic and start it on legendary and await more challenges for now?
