was anyone else mad that the smg wasn’t brought into halo reach, I remember talking to my friend and saying i wanted bungie to put the suppressed smg in to reach, and the odst pistol. was anyone else wanting this, and is anyone else a fan of the odst pistol?
odst pistol ROF was too high, I imagine that against energy shields It would be much like the h2 pistol, which I never really liked.
The smg however is a sad loss. And im sure all the dual wieldable weapons we remember will make a comeback in h4
the smg as i mentioned, wasn’t about the dual wielding it was more about the sound and the feel, and the scoping ability. And i agree about the pistol, but again i liked it for the sound and the power, and the look.
either way, I liked it. It was a good gun in ODST and I believe it would have been in reach. But reach’s sandbox is already huge, so it dosent surprise me why stuff like the flamethrower and smg were dropped from reach.
you know that brings up another thing, why the hell did they drop the beam rifle. the focus rifle is so over powered. One quick burst shield is gone, second burst your dead. I mean yea the beam rifle is just like the sniper in every way except for reticle, but come on.
