I found something pretty strong reference between the main Halo: Reach image that you see and the 1995 movie “The Walking Dead”'s movie cover. Every since Halo: Reach was first announced people has speculated why there’s only 5 characters there and why the planet is in the background. I can now say without a doubt that I know why the image was made like that. It’s because that original Halo: Reach image was a reference to the 1995 movie “The Walking Dead”.
