This was fixed for all other Halo games about a year or two ago but remains bugged in Halo Reach. When you have centered crosshairs and zoom in using a weapon without a scope the zoom will jump and look like it does with lowered crosshairs.

I’d also like this addressed at some point, it’s minor, sure but since the Target Locator’s compass broke with this recent update, I think they could fix this as well since they acknowledged the former.
