Hello all! Sorry for the major time gap between posts, but I have been quite busy. Anyway, I’m going to do the next part of my weapons guide. This will feature the Magnum, the Grenade Launcher and the Sniper Rifle
Magnum
Accuracy: High - Good for head-shots and holding back charging enemies in lieu of a DMR
Mobility: High - Allows for charging and quick getaways
Range: Average - Can deal with mid-range targets, but takes practice to deal with long-range targets
Damage: Average - Deals moderate to high damage depending on the area
Ammo: Average - 8 shots in a clip is fine, but nothing too fancy
Overall: The Magnum is a great sidekick weapon, as long as you don’t overestimate it. It is nearly a DMR in many of the categories, making it pretty potent. The Magnum is alright, but be careful to keep your other weapons ready.
Grenade Launcher
Accuracy: Average - With training can become easy to gauge
Mobility: Average - About the same as the AR or DMR
Range: Average - Using it with high range is very risky
Damage: High - Grenades are just a wee bit stronger than regular frags
Ammo: Low - Not capable of lasting in long fights
Overall: Don’t expect to conquer the battlefield because you can miraculously spew grenades. Great for taking down most vehicles. (With the exceptions of Ghosts and sometimes Revenants). Use this when your grenades are gone and you have no other demolition weapon on hand.
Sniper Rifle
Accuracy: Glorious - Pinpoint accuracy
Mobility: Low - Really between low and average, but takes a wee bit of setting up to do before you can get a real good spree
Range: High - Hits targets from across small maps
Damage: High - Almost always breaks shield
Ammo: Low - Only four shots for clips is low
Overall: Although people sometimes say, “Oh snipers are noobs,” or “Sniping is gay,” they either don’t know how to snipe or have never tried it. The only problem is the vulnerability you have while in 10x scope. Other than that, this is a nearly perfect weapon.
