Dear 343 Industries as having bought Halo Reach back when it first launched I realized I cannot fulfill my duty as a spartan to unlock the eternal flame A.K.A the blue flaming helmet. Back when we had the option to unlock through the Bungie app I couldnt get access to it as having no iPod or tablet. I was wondering as memorial to Halo Reach you guys at 343 could do one last thing for us fans still playing old school Halo and give everyone on Xbox Live the chance to feel great wearing the eternal flame, the fire to remember both 343 and Bungie as great developers. I understand if this is to much to ask as you are working on Halo 5 Guardians and Halo The Master Chief Collection. But still remember the fans.
It’s not going to happen I’m afraid. Blue flames were a parting gift from Bungie and that aspect, as far as I am aware, was not transferred to 343i when they took control of Halo and its assets. I was lucky that I was able to use my g/f’s iPhone at the time to unlock it. There’s various topis in the Reach forum that will all tell you the same thing, sorry OP.

I think it would be simple to add a little feature in Halo Waypoint where if you flick a switch you get the eternal flame of the real halo games and the beautiful nameplate for halo reach. 343 cannot put out the flame and its spirit,it’s power,it’s empowerment to change halo to the better from the tyranny of 343.
