So do I Gencoil has some really good remixes of MM10, last i saw he had a Jewel Man remix for MM9 but he does remixes for other game OST’s too.
I think the numbers speak for themselves, Bungie really screwed people over on this game man. First day Reach was out 900 grand were online, only one year later and its at an average of 40-60 grand a day.
MW2 is destroying Halo and its older! Look you can say what you want about the resets, but theres a reason tons of people stopped playing Reach, and Havn’t come back.

Another person complaining about Reach? Here’s a simple concept: if you don’t like it, don’t play it. CoD’s popular, yes, congratulations on stating the obvious. Why are you even on these forums, if you’re going to complain?
For informational purposes, Reach has an average of 200,000 people online per 24 hours. MW2 is roughly 400,000, and Black Ops peaks over one million. But who cares and why does it matter? I could go into why these games are popular, however I feel like I’d be wasting a hefty amount of my time attempting to enlighten an ignoramus.

I already said I like the game, you fail to read what I said. I dont need 900 grand people playing a game to enjoy it, but for it to be considered sucessful it needs to gross a certain amount, and as of now Halo Reach is no where close to Halo 3.
Btw roughly 25 grand plays Halo 3 even still, sooo what does that mean? If Reach’s numbers are 15 grand away from 3’s what does that mean huh?

You’re right, this isn’t Bnet, so stop acting like it. Need I remind you that you’re the one that went off topic? You initiated the ignorant comments, and, alas, I’m the one that decided to respond with an adequate, well-versed, grammatically correct rebuttal. Need I remind you that you’re the one that initiated the complaints of Reach? If anything, you’re the culprit that denounces this thread to the status of Bnet, not I. However, I’ll go out on a limb and assume you don’t see your error.
Again, I’m going to try and enlighten you. Halo 3 sold roughly 4.2 million units in the past 4 years, while Reach grossed over $200 million on it’s launch day, setting a new franchise record. It pushed nearly three million units in its first month, far surpassing the records set forth by Halo 3. From a sales grossing stand point, Reach was more successful than 3.
Now, let me brake down your posts, and subsequent responses. You claim “I think the numbers speak for themselves…”, however in a later comment you proclaim, “I don’t need 900 grand people playing a game to enjoy it…”. Why would you make an initial comment like this, only to contradict yourself in the following one?
Moving on, Halo 3 has roughly 80,000 players per day, not the “25 grand” you stated. Another incorrect statement, and as I said before, Reach’s is roughly 200,000 players per day. I’m no rocket scientist or mathematician, however that’s a difference of roughly 120,000 people, not “15 grand” of which you stated. Someone “IN the business” would already know this, so it shouldn’t be any news to you.
Now what do the numbers mean, you ask? Halo 3 is coming up on it’s 4th anniversary, which is an extremely long lifespan for a videogame. Halo 3 is still in the top 7 most active games on Xbox Live, and the support is immense from gamers. Reach is currently the 3rd most actively played game on Xbox Live, followed by Black Ops and MW2. Its a general consensus among the community that Reach didn’t have the genuine “Halo” feel, hence why Halo 3 is still very popular. Others chose to play Reach instead. In simplistic terms, so you can comprehend, the numbers don’t mean anything. It’s just a reflection of what people like to play. CoD is a more popular franchise, and it is currently the “it” game in the community - like I said before, since you’re “IN the gaming industry”, you should already know this - and I would like to add that a new CoD game releases once a year, whereas this is not the case with Halo. Only blind people think of it as a competition; they don’t understand that people play what they want to play, it isn’t always about how many people are playing it currently.
Believe me, I read what you wrote, or attempted to, for sifting through your grammar-ridden prose was not an easy feat. I’d also like to add that any of the statistically information found in this response can be supported easily with factual information, of which I can provide for you if you want.
