I was wondering if with the title update, is it possible to make it so that games such as grifball don’t harm k/d? and my bigger question is that is it possible to put the amount of credits needed to level up into the progress bar in the start menu?
I like your second concern, it would be very convienient to see how many more credits I need instead of checking Bungie.net everyday. But for the first one, if you’re that worried then don’t play it. Just my opinion.
I think Griftball affecting your KD is good because it could bring it up really high if you do well and as for the other one, I think that would be a really good idea.
Thanks you guys for the awesome replies =)
and my only concern with k/d on grifball is that people know it affects k/d which is why they dont go for scoring and go for the spawn trapping which brings one guys k/d through the roof, while the poor trapped individual has their k/d come smashing down =/
i know that in other games, the nonkilling gametypes dont affect the k/d and was wondering if it could be implemented into halo
I like the first idea for non competitive game types (grifball, living dead, action sack), people just boost k/d in those playlists and you don’t get better at the game by playing in them. I would like the idea because then people in Grifball will actually arm the bomb. If i wanted to hold the objective, i’d just play BTB, more credits that way.

I like both of your ideas. “Fun” gametypes, such as grifball, action sack, and living dead shouldn’t effect k/d. Leave that to the competitive games like slayer and objective. And cR remaining until rank would be very convenient, I wouldn’t have to go to my 343 profile to check!
Hopefully we get some insight by the halo team, you hear that bs_angel! you’re being summoned!!!
i really do think that these two ideas would benifit the reach (even if in small ways)
