Hi, i was having a halo related debate with a friend today and it all boiled down to how the armour lock works. I’m pretty sure i read somewhere that the shield of the spartan is based from the jackal shield and that armour lock is just an extremely overpowered shield for a short time. But what exactly IS IT? i thought it would be a sort of energy/gravitational field that the armour of the spartan emitted as a sort of protection and forced the spartan to the floor due to immense gravitational force, any input would be appreciated and also discussions on the whole “Armour lock VS Plasma Granade” is also welcome, thanks

YES the Shields DID come from a Jackal’s gauntlet shield that The Mster Chief took from the enemy. As for Armour lock I honest don’t know but I wish it didn’t exsist.
