In Halo we have had so many crazy game types from living dead to grifball. Maybe we should have some new fun game types. I have an opinion of maybe a Spartan laser fight for BTB for example like BTB Snipers but with Spartan Lasers instead. I believe this would be amazing fun bringing a new style of fun game play to the Reach multi-player.

Interesting idea. It would definitely force you to get used to the spartan laser…
However, I’m not sure people would be willing to put in the time to learn the weapon…
I say we should make a playlist that only has weapons that are rarely used lol! A whole level full of focus rifles, plasma launchers, and spartan lasers! That would be crazy!

could be interesting! Don’t think I’ve ever had a spartan laser kill :’) mainly due to i don’t really play BTB or others that may contain the laser haha
They had BTB Splockets in H3 so I don’t see why not here.
True True but it would be interesting to see what people do with the Spartan laser if a hole game type was dedicated to it.
They had “Splasers” too which I liked alot. But it does turn into a snipe fest.

i can see it getting rather fustrating if you ask me haha.
bit like the action sack ‘hockey’ can get enoying and ends up running the time limit all the way downnnn

Spartan lasers and rockets , right ?I thought the already had a playlist like that but took it out , no , I’m sure they did.
Yeah I see were your coming from. If you have something like an over shied or if you could only get head shots as kills would make it a little more interesting and intense and maybe a little less frustrating.

4v4 splockets pops up in Action Sack from time to time.
You can play Splockets in Action Sack. Spartan Laser primary, rockets secondary, all AAs available (Sprint, Armor Lock, Jetpack, Hologram, and maybe something else I don’t use).
Yeah it comes up from time to time but im on about BTB Spartan lasers not just action sack were you may not get it.
I was never a big fan of Splasers on BTB in Halo 3…I would spawn and get lasered alot on Sandoff, it was kinda fun on Rats Nest though. I’d use the rocket mostly and jump around like a maniac!
Halo 3 has a similar game-type, and I like it.
Yeah there was a similar one, using Rockets and Spartan laser. I think on a map like Breakneck would be a fun map to use the lasers on.
spartan laser? would sure be nice to see one in a BTB. especially in heavies. anyone else feel helpless when the drone of a Banshee gets louder and then BOOOOOM! cant seem to find one anywhere except on paradiso which never seems to show up anymore! i love this idea by the way. no secondary weapon though. people would only use this instead.
Yeah Spartan Laser only would be better then having a secondary weapon as well.
