Hey everyone,
I think it’s suffice to say that everyone on the X360 Halo games noticed that the servers have been down for a while, it’s been like 5 days at this point and there’s been no mention or acknowledgement about this issue from 343 in any way. Most of us who remain playing on the classic games are there for getting all the achievements, max rank and armor and like many players I’ve known and seen, we’re so close to getting to Inheritor. The clock is ticking for this entire sunsetting process to happen for all games and with interruptions like these it’s ruining a lot of people’s grind and let’s face it at this point it’s a race against time to get most of these things. We’re not even sure if it’s been down because it’s undergoing maintenance or it’s been needing it. Some of my friends and myself noticed a few things on Reach lately since the servers are down, Our service records are actually being updated for both online and offline gametypes (kills, deaths, W/L), for a while those stats have been frozen and could only be seen through waypoint and secondly when finishing the campaign challenges and restarting my Halo Reach game afterwards, it would be as if the challenge was fresh new and no progress was done on it, so I did it again and I was still accumulating cR for it, I’ve never seen this glitch before and I dunno if anyone is experiencing this as well.
In any case, there’s got to be a way to better communicate these issues to them, I’m not even sure if it’s worth brining it up in social media since naturally Halo Infinite is taking center stage in all there platforms. Can anyone think of anything on what can be done, or is this just a matter of crossing my arms and fingers and waiting for the servers to get back?
