So my boyfriend bought us an xbox yesterday and we got live for 3 months…i go to play reach online and it says the halo reach server is currently unavailable…so i tryed again this morning and it says the same thing…also i tryed 2 play Gears of War 3 online and it says there are no players playing in my region or worldwide…wtf? i know there are people playing that game online, its -Yoinking!- new…so any ideas of wat could be going on? cause -Yoink!- ima boss at halo and i need to get my game on…o and our internet connection is fine…?
i played earlier this morning and everything was fine… (around 9am Eastern time)
What is your Internet Service Provider? Do you have Telus as your ISP? I have heard that users with Telus have issues with connecting to games on XBOX Live.
Edit: Also, what modem/router do you have?
check to see what your ip address is.
If your Ip address begins in string 101, then you will be unable to enter halo reach matchmaking or halo 3 match making or HCE:A or ODS…well you get the picture
Its an error in 343i server ip range.
Its been happening for months now with no indication from 343 when or if it will be fixed
