Halo: Reach - Welcome to Reach (Xbox One) (HD)
I need ur help to play online
Yeah, looks like they dumbed down the graphics…probably as to not compete with Halo 5. I just played the opening intro to this game a week ago, when trying to boot up/ test my wife’s busted 360. The 360 version looks better.
It’s probably the same, it’s just that we are used to higher quality stuff. I thought the same thing when I played Mass Effect for the first time on my Xbone. I went back to my 360 to see what was going on and it was the same.

Also Upscaling is a bit problematic. B2w:
The only thing which i see out there, is the FPS… is ti me or reach fps drops really bad… but maybe its because halo 5 is now on 60 fps - who knows, but looks bit wrong to me…
Two players is super lag, If they dont fix the bugs in this feature it wont do so good in the future.

I noticed that too. Even the sensitivity seemed off. And this is coming from someone who is used to the game.
Awful port, tried playing a living dead match and the first campaign mission and the framerate is so horrid. Game is terribluy blurry and textures have problems loading. It’s a shame the other backwards compatible games I’ve played were fine.

That’s the thing, this isn’t a port. It’s an emulator. And this is an FPS, most of the games they’ve released so far have not been and for this reason; they require work to be done on them since the hardware is so different. They should have taken more time with this. I stared at a haystack in the first mission for a solid 15 seconds before the textures on it popped. This is rough.
Now I have a whole new appreciation for the work done on the ports in the MCC.
And knowing 343i they will never want to fix it…

What does 343 have to do with this? There’s a team at Xbox emulating these games. 343 has zero involvement here.

Microsoft=343i
And I say this because they don’t want Reach having more players than Halo: 5. Which happened last week for a couple hours.

the Illuminati is strong with this one.
I suppose it would be a lot easier then to, I don’t know, not make Reach backwards compatible in the first place. But anyway, no one who works at 343 Industries is handling the emulation of Reach on the Xbox One. That’s done by a different group of folks in the Xbox division and they’re emulating multiple games. They’re not sabotaging any of them either, no matter how interesting or neat that may sound. They’re just having a difficult time getting the FPS games running properly on hardware as drastically differently from the 360 as the Xbox One is.
