I know there will be people who agree and disagree about this game being great but personally it’s one of my favourite halo games. I like how it’s a separate story away from the master chief (although I love those games too). I think this game should be remastered, maybe in 2020 as it’s 10 year anniversary as I’m sure many of you will agree and many will disagree but it’s all down to personal opinion.
This and H3 both need to be remastered. I don’t care what anybody says. PS: If I’ve heard one argument, I’ve heard them all!
Reach doesn’t really need an Anniversary as it’s graphics are already great, realistic graphics in fact. There would be no difference between the original and the remastered. Plus, we still need Halo 3 Anniversary. Having Reach put before Halo 3 just doesn’t work since you’re skipping the game where the Covenant had finally fallen.
I would love it. I’m kinda scared it won’t because h3 didn’t get one and it’s was arguably the best halo game

Well yeah I agree the graphics are pretty up to date and good BUT that game was released 8 years ago, I’m sure that in 2020 (like i said it would hopefully be released since it would be it’s 10 year anniversary) that graphics would have improved and that they could be updated even if it was just slightly better, I know I’d go out of my way to buy reach again just for that. I agree what you’re saying about halo 3 also but I was putting it out there that it would be nice to see reach remastered on its 10 year anniversary.
That would be awsome! It’s still my favorite part of the halo saga with the best fun factor to play multiplayer games. Unfortunately halo didn’t turn better with changing from Bungie to 343 Industries, it has absolutely lost its charm. It should be a sign to Microsoft that after more than seven years there are still hundreds or even thousands of daily players online. Remember reach!
Bc team is probably going to release it soon if 343 won’t. All Reach needs is 4K, (60 FPS if possible), HDR and everything maxed out including textures, lighting etc… And get rid of that horrible AA and motion blur. Basically 343 could do it in 2 weeks tops if they wanted to. P.S. - I know about coding. The only question is if they are willing to do what the fans want.
Id love to see a remaster of this game in more updated graphics I LOVE REACH

Honestly, remastering a game that has amazing, nigh realistic graphics (and only for graphics) sounds like a waste of money. It may get more people into Halo, but from a business standpoint, it’s simply a waste of time, money and talent. Remember that when the Halo games became available through BC, the population barely increased. If so, remastering a game because of graphics when the graphics are already nigh-realistic… just isn’t a good move. If it’s graphics, might aswell release a 4K patch, like the BC games. It’s not as costly of time-consuming, and the game gets even better textures, etc.
Sorry if I sound repetitive.
I also don’t see what they could remaster. They could give it the 343 theme that all anniversary games have, but that’s all they could possibly do. If they wanna do it, great, go for it. I’m not sure if I’d buy it.
But on the other hand, I wasn’t really amazed by Halo CEA until I actually played it, and go to my favorite spots in the game when I was five, and see what it’s like now. I guess it mainly has to do with a certain sense of nostalgia to make it work for me.
I would totally love a remaster of Reach. In my opinion, Reach had the best forge map of all-time, the amount of maps and games you could make in the forge was amazing. With the Halo 5 Custom Games Servers, put the custom servers into the remaster, I believe that the remaster would last longer than the original version
saying halo reach wont be different if it was remastered is like saying the halo 2 anniversary looks no different from original halo 2. remaking reach on a completely different engine would make tthe game look amazing. the standard for graphic has changed. halo reach now has bad graphics. we are spoiled by the xbox one. get with the show people.

I just think that bungee needs to get the rights back to halo and make halo great again

After Destiny? No thanks.

Outside of fixing the frame bleeding in cutscenes and some low-res textures, there’s nothing really to fix about Halo: Reach.
Sure graphical improvements and frame rate improvements are nice, but do you really need to buy a game twice for those two reasons alone?
If it is remastered, it needs the exact same armory system.
I think if it got the same treatment that Halo 3 did for the MCC, it would be perfect. To elaborate, Halo 3 got 60fps, 1080p resolution, and cleaner graphics. There are no more jaggies and it’s hard to go back to the 360 version.
Reach’s polygon count and detail is still extremely good. The issue is the limitations of the 360. That’s why there are so many jaggies, torn frames, and so on. If it was added to the MCC with 60fps, 1080p resolution, and clean graphics, I don’t think it would ever need a remaster.
Reach really only needs a resolution/frame rate boost. At that point, it’s basically on the same level of CE:A in the MCC.
Now 3, on the other hand, could use it. It still holds up decently today, especially in the MCC, but most things look decidedly plastic.

A framerate boost would only be possible through a remaster or it’s addition to the MCC. If you mean a more consistent framerate, it’s ok.
Halo 3 Anniversary isn’t a good move financially. If Halo 3 wasn’t HD like the two previous games, then it would have gotten a remaster. Today, Halo 3 still looks great, especially in the Xbox One X after the 4K patch. The graphical difference would be very minimal.
Remaster the game, all the DLC in it. And a bigger story mode, expanding on the members of Noble Team and the events that led up to Reach. Maybe we could even get some insight to see if Carter and Kat we’re in love.
