So as time goes on, things have been kind of falling into a weird… place. On January 3rd, 2018, someone leaked that there are two games in the works that had Halo ID’s. So, two halo games are being made. Now let’s look at where we are in time. It is 2018. Halo: Reach was released September 14th, 2010. Eight years ago. Recently, on February 28th, 2018, 343 Industries removed Halo: Reach from the service records on Halo Waypoint; meaning that if you played Halo: Reach, you can’t view your states on Halo Waypoint anymore. Despite the amount of popularity of Halo: Reach, it was never fully got a “nod” by 343 Industries. Halo: Reach was much more favorable than Halo 3: ODST, but it was added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Halo 3: ODST had absolutely nothing to do with Master Chief, but Halo: Reach had a little bit. Halo: Reach has yet to see 60 frames per second and 1080p. Every other major title has seen it. So, where does that leave us? Since there are two Halo games in the works, and we already have known one of them is Halo, what’s the other game their working on? I’m assuming that if read this far, you’re on the same page as I am… Could that second Halo game be Halo: Reach Remastered? In my opinion, I believe it very much is likely that they’re working on this as we speak. September 15th, 2020, is on a Tuesday, the day right after Halo: Reach was originally on released. It would fall perfectly into place for the game to have a full Remastered version. For any forgers out there, you might be thinking the same thing I am: Halo: Reach Forge World with Halo 5’s Forge……
Oooh, that would be interesting. Did the leak include roughly when the games would be released? If it’s a remaster, I hope it’s closer to the way 343i handled Halo 2 anniversary’s graphics because right now Halo Reach on Backwards Compatibility works pretty well (I’ve heard it runs a little bit smoother than the 360 version).
There’s a couple active threads on this already, please use one of those.
Thanks!
