Like most people I started my journey of halo from halo reach, this game is by far my favorite halo game. I know some of you might disagree with me but hear me out. Long answer: No, don’t be ridiculous.
Asking for a remastered version of Reach makes significantly less sense than asking for Halo 3 Anniversary, and I don’t even want an H3A.

It is way too early to talk about a Reach anniversary when Halo 3 anniversary has not even been announced yet. Anyway, I do not think Halo Reach needs to be remastered. After all, it is still playable on the Xbox One and the graphics still look pretty good. It would just be another $60 for a game that still functions well and likely will until the Xbox One successor comes out. Even Halo 3 anniversary is not needed.
Enough with the remasters. Halo 1 & 2 were remastered. Halo 3 & 4 were upgraded for the HMCC. Halo Wars is getting worked over for the release of HW2. I dont think 343 needs to worry about all the past games. Lets more foward. I rather them spend time with a new spin off game or bring Spartan Strike to xbox.

It came out 6 years ago,games less then 10 years old don’t need remastering
If they were to do anything with Reach…they should bring it up to 60 fps.
Halo 3 isn’t even getting a remaster, why would Reach get one? I love Reach but even if 343 were to continue with the remasters, it really doesn’t even need the full anniversary treatment. Reach still looks great and I would personally just like to see it upgraded to 1080p 60 fps like they’re doing with Halo Wars. A “definitive addition” packaged with all the DLC and fully ported to the Xbox One so that it is no longer the only Halo game not running at 60fps. Some new features like support for the Reach fileshare on waypoint and maybe spartan companies would be nice too.

No, I would much rather halo 2 or 3 if they do a remaster.

Halo 3 isn’t getting remastered. Next in line would be REACH.
Halo 6 should be main priority at the moment, anyway games do not get remastered until after 9 years.

I realize 3 isn’t getting a remaster, but I’m still saying that remastering Reach is an absurd notion.
Besides, Halo Wars and 3 ODST would be next in line if you want to go about it that way.

Why? Reach is only 6 years old and is on the One. From my experience it also plays just as well 97% of the time now. Some textures are still muddy… like all the armor attachments, but gameplay has been smoothed out since it launched on the One.
A remaster? No. A Definitive Edition? Absolutely.
The Definitive Edition of Halo: Reach would basically be the original game with all DLC included, upscaled to run at 1080p/60fps, and maybe a few extras thrown in; like the UA/Multi-Threat chest plate and Elite Officer skin, and maybe some new customization options for Firefight; like the ability to add Set Skulls (skulls that activate at the start of each Set, like in ODST), Heretic Elites (play as an Elite fighting alongside the Spartans against the Covenant), and Traits for Ammo Crates; tweak ammo crates to determine what kinds of weapons they can refill. I’ve always wanted Ammo Crates to refill the Sniper Rifle, which is useless in Firefight outside Sniperfight.
Also, maybe some new variants of Forge World? Snow World (a winter-themed Forge World), Sand World (a desert themed version), along with nighttime variants of all three.
Reach doesn’t even need a remaster, even then it’s still 4 years off, let’s think about 3A/h6 first.
I definitely think we need a halo reach anniversary. That game was so good and still is. I think a anniversary edition would be so popular, just reliving the sad death of each noble member in amazing graphics would be soo cool especially that final mission where your on your own it would be great
Halo reach remastered would be so cool I want it so bad just thinking of the best moment of that game make me want it more especially because if they did the death of every spartan in noble team would look so much better graphics wise and running at 1080p/60fps would be awesome
