Halo Reach was and still is probably one of the greatest Halo games out of the series. With so many different opportunities and communities to join, from Competitive to clan based, it brought alot of entertainment.
Now we can continue to enjoy this amazing game on the Xbox One! Since Microsoft released it’s backwards compatibility mode, and Halo Reach IS in fact one of those games that will be compatible here in december, we can now enjoy Halo Reach like we have or still do just on the next gen system.
I have left this forum hear to read YOUR opinions and what you think about the game being remastered! Leave a comment/reply below and let us all know!
Not to be a Debbie-Downer, but Reach was not listed as a backwards-compatible game for the Xbox One…also, I don’t recall reading anywhere that they were re-mastering the game.
However, an HD remake for the Xbox One makes sense. People bought MCC and I’m sure 343i knows Reach is a big hit for people, so I’m sure they see it as a viable cash cow in the future…

This is incorrect, reach is coming but at a later date. I think due to it may steal some population from halo 5 but dont pin me on that. It will be a backwards compatable title but it wont be remastered either. It will still play the same like it did on 360 but more people will be able to play with the 360 gen so you will see a population increase and have more people to play with. That being said idk if they would remaster it being that it will be available to both gens.

I never said that it would never be released as backwards-compatible, just merely that it wasn’t being released as part of the initial wave of games being released as part of the November update…I should have been more specific and I apologize.
I thought I read somewhere that all backward compatible titles were 1080p @60FPS. So, in a way that would be some level of re-mastering. It should make for a cleaner picture either way. It’s like on PC. If I play a 5 year old game, on my new PC that I couldn’t originally run at 1920x1080, I should sure as heck be able to do it now and at a much higher frame rate.
Halo Reach is my favorite Halo game and I still have my 360 just to play it. It would be nice for it to become backwards compatible. I notice during big team battles if a lot of stuff is going on at once you get a slowdown and framrate drop. I am assuming this would be rectified on the Xboxone?

More than likely. The specs on an Xbox one are much better than the 360’s, so framerate shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
I am very excited because very since I saw my friend playing halo 3 back in 2009 I was so hyped for a new one. This ended up being Reach… I first picked my Xbox in 2011 and 2 years later I got Halo Reach. I loved the fast paced multiplayer and the the graphics and story of the Campaign. I still remember watching RVB and playing Halo on my friends xbox and I was astonished even of Halo 3
i cant wait Reach is my favorite for “competitive” multiplayer Halo 5 is fun but its arena mode is not worth my time Warzone is amazing however but if i want to go head to head in 4v4 MP REACH is where its at

They actually confirmed that Reach and Wars are going to be backwards compatible.
It isn’t being remastered from what I understand. I don’t think it really needs a graphical update but I am pumped that it is being reverse compatible.
