Who else thinks that 343 should put their best foot forward and work on a remaster for Halo Reach? I for one think they should. For one it would rake in tons of cash with very little effort. It would revive the player base. It would bring in new people for 343. They could provide regular updates with new things and tools. This remaster would be the ultimate cash flow for 343.

No, they should focus their efforts to making future Halo games more successful with both fanbases.
Just because Halo CE and 2 got remastered (the ONLY games that needed it), it does not mean that 343 should go and remaster every single game in the franchise. Where does it end? Remaster Halo 5 Guardians again for the Xbox One?
I really hope Reach gets remastered. I don’t even have an XBox, just a PC, but I still hope. If it is remastered, I will be ecstatic. If it is remastered AND releases on PC, I will immediately pop one, and then proceed to purchase it ASAP.

If Halo Reach gets remastered / ported to PC, it would be the best thing since Black Ops 2, and also make a -Yoink- ton of money. I would buy it in a heartbeat, no matter the price. Please let this happen. This needs to happen.

I love Reach, and I’d love to play it with higher resolution, upgraded framerate, improved lighting and effects, etc. But I feel like people have moved passed it. While other Halo titles are being released, I don’t see why the general audience would revert back to an old game.
The best thing would be to port Reach to PC with some minor upgrades, introduce it to a knew audience via Steam (the Microsoft store only would be a wasted opportunity), and then release The Master Chief Collectiontion followed by Halo 5 to PC. They could bundle them together into a package once they’re all released.
Halo Reach, as well as every other Halo title, deserves to be played by a wider audience. Halo Reach remastered on Xbox probably wouldn’t do much in that regard, but adding it to PC would do a hell of a lot.
I would agree to just port it over to pc with higher resolution and framerate, and maybe even release it on steam because that would be a huge thing.
Halo Reach, I think, is more popular than Halo 5, as the player count is slowly going down on Halo 5.
If you were to play Halo Reach today, you would find a match in like 20 secs. Pretty awesome.
I think if they made a new/remasted game, it would have to have the leveling system and forge from Reach. That would be a great Halo.
And I think it would do better than Halo 5 on Xbox and PC.
They just need to focus on what made Halo’s good.
I highly doubt that there will be a Remaster or PC for Reach. 343 already does next to nothing for Reach as it is. 343 Is trying to move out of Bungie’s shadow, and the only reason they did the Remember Reach thing is to hopefully get the Reach players onto 5.
But I do know about the community doing that themselves. Just look it up. They kinda hit a roadblock, and GameSpy is no longer a thing, so can’t rely on them either.
As much time, effort, and focus that 343i is putting on Halo 6, it might not happen. Besides, Reach still remains a beautiful game to this day, 8 years later, I don’t see a need to remaster anytime soon
