Just signed up for the flighting of the Halo on PC. I am stoked to see reach make a comeback. On the topic of reach what level did you guys get too before putting down the game?
I got to General Grade I
I got to Brigadier Grade 2

Two before inheritor, so Forerunner. I went back to Reach well after Halo 4 launched, but I was playing alot more Battlefield 3 near the end of the 360 days, so the grind was never completed.
I got to Forerunner before I gave up the grind. I have never reached the top rank in a Halo game. Ever. Not for the lack of trying, mind you, but I’m always torn continuously between gaining a higher rank on Halo or increasing my gamerscore in general by playing other games to get achievements.
I am still playing so I can’t say

I sold my Xbox about a year ago, I know the community still thrives I was just trying to generalize

I really liked this ranking system. I want to see it brought back if possible

I like that they’re investigating revamping the progression for unlocks, however, I really hope that they keep the ranks the same since it was a really good way to tell how much someone has played the game. Plus it felt great to achieve a new rank and know that everything you did was contributing to such cool ranks as opposed to just arbitrary numbers.

I disliked the ranks in Reach. It only showed how much time someone played, not how good they were.
Inheritor a bunch of times over 
I reached inheritor on my original 360 account but lost it back in 2013. Still bums me out 
I feel like if I would’ve actually put the work in I could’ve reached max rank. I was in high school so I had the time but all my online friends moved off to college so I didn’t want to grind solo lol

Similar to me, so i switched to firefight/btb
On my original account, I was a Field Marshall, but I got locked out of it so I had to start again. Ended up as a Warrant Officer Grade 3.

I did so many gruntpolcolypse firefight missions but never really grinded for challenges. They felt so tedious back in the day but I recently got on and they are super obtainable lol
