Hello I was just posting to tell my story and try to get to the bottom of my problem. I have been playing halo since it’s wee beginning and consider myself an Xbox Live Veteran, seeing I have been along for the majority of the ride. My rank was reset on Halo Reach and I would like to know why and if it was a mistake. I had a pretty high rank and had unlocked a good bit of the armory. I haven’t played since about last year and I got online to reach last night and was a recruit with 450 CP. I still have the campaign beat on legendary and on all of my other halo games (Halo Wars, Halo ODST, and Halo 3) I am the rank as I should be I went on to Bungie.net and it also said I was a recruit. I was just wanting to have some feedback and also hopefully get this fixed thanks for reading this. My gamertag is CerialKilla69 contact me if you know how this can be fixed. Thanks.
You would have to ask Bungie, they did all Reach rank resets manually a long time ago.
343i don’t do resets as far as I know, there hasn’t been a single reported case of it since 343i took over.

And judging by your play history Op where you stoped to play where about the same time when Bungie reset the ranks on players who reseted their daily challenges for quick and easy cR.
I knew about all of the resets and stuff because I keep up pretty well with most gaming communities and I researched this a little but as far as I know there was no reason to reset my rank.
