Halo Reach Raid Rules

Hello, everyone. I might be one of the biggest Halo Reach fans. I start to play Halo Reach about a little more a year (online), and I hear about people building clans. I thought this would be a fun, great way to play Reach. I start to jump from clan to clan, every finding the perfect one. So, recently I made my own clan, with the wisdom I learn from the other clans I was in. However, I am new to this. I had a few Practice ways, and they didn’t went my way, and some leader question, some of my raid rules. It is was stupid, and that I was giving the defenders a far chance. I want to know what all gamer thing. I’ll display my raid rule below and explain what each one mean, but first I hear when Halo Reach came out and few big clans came together and made up some basic raid rules for all clans to follow, or make up there own. I hear they post it online. Can anyone gave me a link to that? And on more thing, Why is everyone so worried by losing a raid, clans should be fun for both side, not just the attackers.

  1. Two snipers, with pistol and no jetpacks. If attackers or defend get down to than 4 people, there should only be one sniper.

  2. One explosive soldier, as in One soldier will be using all the explosive weapons like the Rocket, Laser, Tank, Rocket Hog, grenade launchers, etc.) A person can have a Rocket and other person have a tank, two over powered, and can have a Spartan and Rocket in one load out. Gave the attack no chance of reaching the base.

  3. No bridge maps. No small opening maps. Like a small tunnel to get into a base, where the attack can set a rocket at one end of the tunnel and keep on firing into the hole. No over powering maps.

  4. No power weapon dueling. Some agreed to this, other I had to explain to what this meant, some didn’t like it. This one is we’re I got hate for the most. Say I was unfair and other rude stuff about me. This rules means, you can have a sniper and a shotgun together, or sniper and a rocket, or rocket and a sniper. Power weapons is anything that is not DMR, AR and a pistols, Plasma Rifle, Repeater and Pistol, and I think that it. Shotgun, snipers, rocket, plasma launcher, energy swords, etc. are all power weapons and should be duel wielded.

  5. One banshee or a falcon, both can be play on the same game. Like some started playing with banshee and drop it down and gave a falcon to pick up a fall ally, then once the ally back at base, use the banshee again. In my raids, it’s not aloud.

  6. No spawn killing or trapping, if someone die and come to spawn, and get kill in spawn by people in spawn is not aloud. There should be a small space that is a no kill zone in spawn. I didn’t create this rule to be a &*(!, I created this rule so no will get kill being spawn rape. It is no fun, and bring down moral. I like to have a little fun in the game, not to be Pi$$ all the time.

  7. Radar is on at all times.

  8. T-bagging and hitting bodies is ok, if both side agreed upon it. This is Halo T-bagging was born on Halo (Not Call of Duty, I don’t like when people say Don’t T-bag, its not Call of Duty).

  9. Time limit will be set, an hour or real raids and at less 30 minutes for Practice raids. People have a life outside of game (or at less they should), they can’t be on all the time. People on backup lobbies get bored to.

  10. No kill boundaries or blocking path of to anywhere. Like putting a collision wall on north and south land bridge of the island on forge world, or putting rocks on both side where you clam on mountain Alaska. Players should be able to travel anywhere to get to the base. Like having the raid base inside of the big cave, and attackers spawn on the island, with the north land bridge block and kill boundaries and rock blocking the way up to Alaska so people can’t get behind the base to the back door.

  11. Attackers must have a Primary, Secondary and armor ability, mostly like sprint, haven’t been in a raid that use something other than Sprint. And of course, Armor lock and invisibility is illegal during a raid. From what I am told, at less.

That all the rules, I remember so far. Tell me what you think? Me personal think this is a good idea, it gave each side a chance to win and show how skill the other clan with limited power.

You have a mix of 2014-16 all together but so far you’re correct

I still don’t understand how people find raids to be fun or show skill at Reach. One team sits there and mows down the other. If you want to show skill do a proper 8v8.

It can be fun and skilled, there are just some clans out there. How does understand that and all they wanna do is win, no matter. Unlike me, or what to do both.

I don’t know how this can show skill if everyone has to play by your rules, and what if people have different ways of playing than you? Do you just leave them out?

All he did was explain

While raiding shows some skill of attack and offense as a team or clan. You need to work together to take the base so strategy, logic, and teamwork are all skillets said people have.

Therefore raids are skilled and not at the same exact time.

They don’t have to follow all of my rules, but I would like to use some. I won’t do a raid if only the other clan won’t do some of my rules.
