I haven’t quite understood the unlock mechanics of the MC:C version of reach. I am currently playing the flight and I see other people walk around with different helmets and the likes. If you go into details on each helmet it doesnt really specify how you will get them, or how you can purchase them. If someone would help me out it would be great!
The more you play the more you’ll unlock. Everything is unlocked in a particular order. Basically rank up and unlock.

Yeah like the old system then, But how are people ranking up on the flight test? I saw people using recon and CQB helmets etc, And i dont seem to get any ranks or progression from playing

EXP was disabled a few days ago, per the flight extension email:
> “In order to update our services, we will be disabling the tools that grant XP at the end of each match tomorrow. XP will not be returning for the duration of the flight and is intentional. Please do not submit new tickets for this intended change.”
So, by extension, progression is currently impossible unless you already have skill points.
