Halo Reach Population

Good Morning Community

I’m debating if I should buy halo Reach on backwards compatibility on the Xbox one. Just curious about the currently population; is it hard to find games or is everything still running pretty smooth?

Thanks in advance!

The game itself runs pretty smooth, actually a little smoother than booting it up on a 360. But there have been all kinds of other issues with the servers as of late.
The population counter keeps disappearing, and players with open NAT keep being pushed to moderate or strict for some reason.
Aside from that, the game runs okay, though I’d like to point out online campaign being nearly unplayable with anyone that has less than decent internet.
Hopefully, everything is fixed soon.

Emulation of Reach on the One is just off, frame issues remain a problem and it just doesn’t feel the same. The population is great, but I recommend playing it native on the 360.

If you’re having issues with framerate on the back-compat version, you might have to try deleting and reinstalling the game. If this still doesn’t help, you might have some hardware issues – like corrupt data on your HDD or some other problem with the Xbox.
The majority of people, myself included, have seen a much more solid framerate on Xbox One’s back-compat for Reach. Frame drops are nearly nonexistent.

Framerate issues and delays have been reported in the custom game communities, where, I guess, it applies more so. Reach emulation frequently needs reinstallation, and hard resets to get ingame and the frame issues are on the emulator alone, as other games work fine. Of course this is just on my local xbox one, and with several others too. I’ve since stuck with native  glad to see it’s leaning more on the working side though.

Wow, that is just as high as some modern games where you can see the counter. Titanfall 2 for example rarely reaches 10,000. It’s great to see it that high! How is the framerate on Reach’s multiplayer doing?

Decent very good with high speed internet or normal internet and has less lag than halo 5
