Whenever I play Reach for every gametype in matchmaking it says the population is 0 even though when I play I can still find a game fairly fast.

Its a known glitch that happens time to time again. The most populated playlists are Team Slayer, Big Team Battle, SWAT, Living Dead, Grifball, and Invasion.
