Halo Reach: Pick up weapon message messed up

I noticed when I’m playing Halo Reach, the weapon pick up message is either missing or is jumbled up nonsense. Anyone else having this issue?

It is a known issue. I believe it’s happening to everyone, as I see the messed up messages every game.

I only noticed it here recently. I don’t play Reach as much as I do say Halo 2 or 3. Sad to see though
