Halo:Reach PC Team Hardcore Rank Resets to 1

Hello,

I’m currently running into a rather annoying issue.
I have bought the MCC on Steam and connected my Steam Account with a rather fresh Microsoft/XBOX account.
After playing to ~ Level 35 and ~Rank 24 in Team Hardcore I was able to recover my old XBOX Account that I used back on 360 in the Reach days.

So I disconnected my old Microsoft/XBOX Account from Steam and connected my old account to it.
After Changing the Profile ingame my level and Team Hardcore rank were reset (as I expected).
The thing is, that everytime I play the game and earn back a higher Rank in Team Hardcore, it just resets back to Rank 1 after relaunching the game.
Do I have to do any further steps to resolve this issue?

Same issue since day 1. Playing on game pass.

I have the same issue. Super annoying. Anyone know a solution? Already tried uninstalling and re downloading the game.

okay i fixed mine, you may not want to do it but i was using xbox game pass to play, i purchased halo reach on steam this time and now my ranks are fine! give it a go and let me know
