I like your take on this! Cause your right! People couldin’t adapt or they didn’t want to when it came to Reach, I loved reach, and I started with Halo 3. I loved Halo 3 and I loved Halo 4, and now I love Halo 5. I just love Halo. ahahahahha

You may not remember this, but Halo Reach was called out as destroying what made Halo good. The competitive aspect of it. Bungie killed it. I don’t care what the reception was when the game launched years ago.
It it was not good. Halo 5 is much better. That’s pretty much the end of it.

> Halo 1 to 3 had me picturing Spartans as bad -Yoink- mofos… There was a mystery to them and I liked the aura around master chief and the Spartans. When Reach came out… The helmets came off the Spartans… Literally… And they seemed more like normal people in armor. Didn’t seem bad -Yoink- enough anymore. I hate how they seem to go out of there way to show the Spartans in Reach and Halo 5 without their helmets. Reach was the start of that and despite it being a good game… It made halo less badass to me.
In halo 5 spartan Palmer isn’t wearing her helmet when she’s going down in the pelican with Halsey. Why on earth would a spartan take their helmet off during a battle let alone when they are in a pelican that is about to crash? Patch the game so all cutscenes have them wearing helmets and change their voices. Let’s make Spartans bad -Yoink- again.
Reach made me quit as well, left the halo world. Decided to give halo a try again with Halo 5 and am back into halo. I will be getting halo 4 soon to see what I missed. The multiplayer aspect of 5 just does it for me. Only thing I say Reach did better for me was split-screen.
Reach had a better campaign but with all the effort being put into Halo 5 it will overcome the weaker campaign with a superior competition and multi aspect. Once we see forge everyone will know this. There is a reason it wasn’t released at launch and soon we will see why.

Hi -
Unfortunately I have to ask that you repost in English as we are not equipped to handle other languages at this time.
Reach definitely. Unless they make it where you can only forge online with it as well. I was hoping to cime back to H5 but knowing now that “one of my favorite options” forge is an online mode only. they can take this metal earth guardian and jam it right up thier money hungy -Yoinks!-

That was something brought up by SII in ghost of onyx considering the SIII discipline. think it was again in last light not sure.
Either way not a smart move and a bad example for her subordinates.
If halo has declined in popularity since reach what do we expect for the next instalment. Feels as though 5 is a bit of a mish mash almost confused as to what the game wants to be. All I know is as consumers we should not be relying on updates to improve a game it should be on point from release. One of the few titles I’ve ever played that was worse than its beta. This is just my opinion.

all of them sold better then guardians. but they’re making up for it with req paks
I didn’t like Reach at all when it was out, but I miss the ability to play socially with my friends. Even when the social playlist update is released I doubt that this game has any social potential. All of the mechanics were changed to foster a competitive game, and I don’t think that just removing the ranks is going to make the game that fun for casual/social players like me and my friends. A lot is going to have to change in order to make this game an actual casual experience. Sure some things like increasing the radar back to what it should be, and removing friendly fire are going to go a long way in making the game more fun to play. But with the aiming being so frustrating, weapons being able to cross map with ease, and mini nuke grendades still being a thing I just don’t see a casual future for this game. In that vain, Reach and the MCC will have to do I guess. It sucks that 343i just completely overlooked the majority of Halo players, but it is what it is.

What makes me laugh is even Halo 3 had people raging about how “halo is finished!” Its a recurring theme of the community. Suddenly Halo:Reach is the best game ever… This is going to happen with every Halo game. I liked Halo Reach but I got sick of the MP quickly. The campaign was fun but I didn’t find the campaign replayable. I remember from Halo 1-3 I would replay each campaign until the next Halo game came out (I played no other game but Halo). I find I can do the same for Halo 5. So I am happy with Halo 5 and I will stick with it. The multiplayer is also beast
