Halo: Reach online support?

Hi there, lately when I’ve been playing custom games online in Halo: Reach I’ve been lagging out. Now this happens whenever I connect/disconnect my wireless microphone in parties about 5+. I’ve checked my internet connection and everything is fine. But whenever I turn on my mic in Reach I get disconnected from Xbox LIVE and have to restart my console. Help?

Let me make sure I read correctly. You get disconnected when you disconnect/connect your wireless microphone? Is that the only reason? Are there any other devices on your network during this time frame?

No, not at all. It happens specifically when i turn it on or off in large parties. If it wasn’t I wouldn’t have come to the forums.

That’s very interesting. Is it just from the party or is it from xbox live itself?

The game party? No, it’s from Xbox LIVE itself. I turn it on/off ( today i went to make a voice message and it did it right when I hit record ) and then I lose connection completely. I can’t find the connection or test my xbox LIVE connection, so I have to restart my system.

Certainly a head scratcher. Are you certain that there’s Not a Disconnect/connect button on the wireless mic itself? If there is and you keep hitting that button and I don’t mean Mute/Un-Mute, then it makes Perfect sense why you’re having the problem you are.

Not sure, I’ll look it up real quick and post a reply. Still wouldn’t explain disconnecting when sending a message though :/. I tohught it my be my Xbox, but it’s brand new and only happens with Halo: Reach.
