Been curious, Halo Reach was I think the 3rd Halo game I played and to this day I consider it the best Halo the Bungie made. So now that we know it is coming to XBox One through backwards compatibility, I planned on downloading it. I just had one question that I never could find an answer too: Will we be able to play Halo Reach online? This may be a stupid question, but I want to know for sure. In my opinion, the armor in Halo Reach looks better than in any game (Locus Helmet from 4 and 5 is the best, but I’m talking overall) because it looked more metallic. So I just wondered if I can play online, or is it just for the novelty of playing on the current generation on consoles?
I sure hope we can play online. super hyped for this game again

SO when is this available for xbox one, I spoke with them on the phone they said it is available for xbox one but i looked just as they said to and it is not there at all. It won’t read the disc either.

Not sure of the exact date, but they did confirm it for December is what I heard. Could be wrong, but I’m fairly sure.
I think we would be remember the matchmaking will be different on the Xbox one from the 360. This is because 343 has the Xbox one servers for halo reach and not bungie.

Good point, never thought of that. Also, anyone think it would be nice to see the game get a graphics enhancement?

i just hope they lock the frames to 30, in 360 there’s a lot of drops while playing.

But can’t you play on two consoles at once? You can virtually be playing against your profile if your friend is using your account on his xbox

The Xbox One will run it smoother.
It’s already been tested and reported that 360 games run smoother on Xbox One, because of the Xbox One’s power.

Reach will run on the 360 emulator that is installed on the One. Reach on ONE will use the same servers as Reach on 360.
I just installed halo reach without the disic, but ever time i try to play it says i have no xbox live, even tho i do. How do I play?

I know that I’m reviving an old thread but I have the exact same issue since I had the disc and I have xbox live on my Xbox one but it says I don’t when trying to play multiplayer and signs me in as my old profile. Mods could you please redirect me as well as others to somewhere to help us please.
