So, I started playing Halo again after I got a friend to share it with me on Steam. I wanted to try my hand at getting the One Final Firefight achievement and I got the score required for the achievement but it never unlocked. I’ve read around and I’ve seen a lot of people have similar issues in the past. Do I just have to wait?
I think it doesn’t count as an achievement seeing as you said that he shared the game and if I am not mistaken both parties need to own the game so both get the achievement instead of just the owner. Don’t quote me on this if I’m wrong as this is just a theory.
You must left yourself be killed by the enemies and also take into consideration that your death will subtract points from your score so it’s always safest to go a decent amount over the required point total to allow for this. Only then will the achievement unlock. Waiting around won’t do anything. It may be likely that you lost some score after getting killed but I don’t know because you never followed up with this thread and it’s from February.
