So, I downloaded Halo Reach(from the 360 game disc)to my xbox one and started playing. I could not help but notice that instead of the game spawning Elite Minors, it is spawning Elite Majors during Mission 2. What’s up with that?
It is likely tied to the difficulty you are playing on. There are different enemy classes in certain points of the campaign depending on which difficulty you play on.
I tried to check what difficulty you were playing on through you service record, but it doesn’t look like you’ve played many of the games. Are you new to Halo, or is this a new account?

It’s also possible that maybe you had a skull on? I’d check what those above me have suggested as well.
I had a 360 Pro that was not set up for wifi. I only started having access to Waypoint when I started playing Halo 5. Ive beaten all the main game campaigns so far.

I was on Easy in order to get a feel for Reach again. It was specifically the Non-Ultras prior to the outpost on Winter Contingency.

Interesting. Since you mentioned you joined Waypoint after you started playing Halo 5, I wonder if there was an update to Reach on 360 at some point when the game was new that adjusted enemy placements. Did you have Xbox Live back then?

No. I have never had Xbox Live. Even now, I don’t have Gold. The console was originally my dad’s, and to this day is not set up for an internet connection. I have also found out that if you download the the game from the disc it only give you the basic game. My copy came with the Elite Major armor for multiplayer.
