I’ve been playing Halo Reach on my Xbox One for the past few months now thanks to backwards compatibility. One thing that has been extremely disappointing though is that the Recon helmet that I got from a code that came with the game was not in my armory. I know that there was a recent update for backwards compatibility for all Halo games and DLC but my Recon helmet is nowhere to be found. I know this doesn’t seem like a huge deal, but it was my favorite helmet to use on Reach. Is there any way for me to get my helmet again? I searched on the game store on the Xbox One and the Recon helmet DLC shows up, but the store says that the DLC is unavailable for purchase currently. 343 industries, please do something about this. If you redeemed it, it should show up under your ‘Ready to install’ section when you select ‘Manage game’ for Halo Reach. My Limited Edition content was there.

how many years ago though? I saw on a forum from two years ago that people were able to do that, but when I look in my ready to install section, there is no halo reach dlc waiting for me. I talked to a xbox live agent about this, and he confirmed that the helmet was indeed on my account, but he said that the problem was that the dlc was not backwards compatible, but then on forums I see that people were able to get their recon helmet on the xbox one two years ago. I’m stuck and I seriously want my recon helmet.

It might have to do something with your country not having the DLC backwards compatible. Try changing your account region and take a look at the marketplace again

I live in the US and when it first went BC I was extremely disappointed too. But, I did what someone else said and went to the Reach tile, pressed start, manage game, and thats where I found the DLC for Recon and redownloaded it. I know its possible because I have mine and still use it to this day.
Its just a helmet. its not a big deal like the flames in the game
You could click on “Manage game” and go to ready to install, that’ll work
