Reach firefight matchmaking on the 360 and the pre-X One’s have serious frame rate performance issues. The X has almost completely cured any detectable frame drops. Finally clean crisp Reach FF matches.
Hope Reach will be added to the MCC in 2018.

Glad to hear Reach has improvements on the XB1X. I have been going back and getting all the old Halo games again, been playing 3, 4, and Reach for the last week (Thanks Gamestop for giving me a nice trade in credit for Destiny 2) and have been having a blast. Trying to get some old friends playing again, and some of us have started a club aiming to revive the older halo games.
As far as the MCC goes I think Reach is better off as a standalone game. MCC is still a mess even though improvements have been made since launch I just don’t see it ever being what the “plan/vision” for It becoming realistic. It was a great idea and marketed well, just executed poorly. I find it better to play off those old discs anyway because I get to enjoy all the playlists in each game.
I’ve had pretty good luck with the MCC. Have 5605 out of 6000 GS so have some hour into it. I’d like to get a fresh set of achievements for Reach and have some speedrun achievements as well. But the MCC is already pretty big and getting bigger soon with the upcoming X enhancement patch. So Reach would make it even more jumbo. We’ll see what 343 does with it in 2018.
I’ love to see reach added to the MCC, but yeah once I put it in the game ran better it’ no longer leggy and stuttery. Though it seems like that motion blur is totally gone. Cells different but not bad. Just looks super fuzzy and jagged thougj, may just he from the BC for all I know. But it is’ now playable
I think halo reach will not be added on MCC in 2018.
Hmm, considering all of the features that were removed from the other Halo games when they were added to the MCC, I think Reach is better off being by itself. I’d rather not lose all of the armor customization options, or Firefight 2.0, or the various DLC, especially not the Anniversary DLC. Honestly, I think Reach is a perfect package on its own. Besides, it doesn’t really feature the Master Chief except in a brief cameo seen only at the end, and that’s like only a few seconds. It’s more of an Easter Egg than a cameo, actually. Still, I can understand the desire for Reach to be added to the MCC, but it’s honestly better off being its own self-contained backwards-compatible package.
I would love to see the glory of invasion revived on next gen. with updated visuals for a whole new generation of halo players that have missed out on this turning point of a game mode.
