I was just looking at the TU damnation gameplay once again and thought to myself, this is what I would have expected from Reach at lanuch. New additions, nice graphics and once again the core gameplay that we have seen in all of the previous titles.
It just seems like the TU brings Reach back to its roots with the NO BLOOM!, Fast kill times and the consistancy we all expect from a halo game.
Personally I can’t wait, from the minute I played the beta I knew that bloom was a no no for a halo title and I have wanted this to be turned off since the beginning. I know that this is a two sided argument but now everyone can play the version of reach that they like the most, which at the end of the day as what we all want.
I just want to thank 343 for lisening to their cummunity and showing us that they are pasionate about Halo. The release of this title update has shown us that 343 are a worthy successor of the Halo franchise and the community that comes with it.
> NO BLOOM!
Bloom itself is a good idea, it stops people from spamming and getting easy kills. It just wasn’t implemented properly.

Which is why 343 Industries believe that 85% Bloom Mode will be much better then 100% Bloom Mode…
TU comes out tomorrow, but doesn’t do anything until October. I hope you know this.

I hope you know that they are releasing a custom gametype “shortly after” the TU is released, for use in custom games.

When you say it stops people spamming, you have to remember that spamming is only in the game as a result of bloom and was not in any previous halo.
Halo reach official release date 14/09/10.
the TU brings reach back to its roots? Isn’t it still in its original state?
