Halo reach NOT working on Xbox one

So i wanted to play reach on my Xbox one, but when i putted the disc in and clicked install, it said like “This game cannot be played on Xbox one”
So i decided to check xbox’s website, but on the website it stated that i WAS able to play it Xbox one. I Trier again but it still didnt work.

can someone please help me fix This?

  1. Did you restart the console or clear the cache and try again?

  2. Is the disc readable? If not you might need to clean it or get a new disc all together.

  3. Has the console ever had problems reading any other disc? There could be an issue with the laser in the xbox (sounds unlikely depending on how new it is).

If none of the above works, you’re gonna have to go to Microsoft’s support page for the Xbox one.

To be fair. It is not really designed for Xbox One though they state it is backwards compatible. Does not necessarily mean you will be able to play the game with no issues. Hence the issue you are experiencing.

Thanks man, i turned off the console and let it set for a couple of hours. Aften that it worked again.

I am having the same problem except its saying it can’t retrive data from servers. It has done this for 3 days now.
