Halo Reach no longer on account

Hello, I just want to preface this by saying, yes I talked to Microsoft/Xbox support who suggested I go to Bungie, who suggested I come here as it deals with Halo.

I was part of the disc testers that used a copy of Halo Reach to test out part of an update to the 360 system. I won’t go into details but suffice to say at the end of the test I was granted a digital copy of Reach on my account.

Then about a month ago, Reach disappeared from my account. I was locked out of the digital copy that was on the xbox, it no longer appeared in my downloads, and trying to download it again from the shop prompted me to purchase it. At first I wasn’t worried, I had had a similar issue with my bought copy of Spartan Assault and it was resolved in a week no call needed.

As I said, this is a month later, and at this point I’m more interested in why this is happening at all. Getting the game back is secondary right now if someone could just tell me why, in the space of less then three months, two games have locked on me.

Hi Romesaria.

So if I’m understanding correctly, your digital copy of Halo: Reach is no longer showing up in your Xbox Download History?

Yes, and I’ve already tried redownloading the profile as the guy at Xbox asked.

Ok, thanks for replying.

Are you on the same profile which you redeemed the code for the digital version?

Same profile, different Xbox, which wasn’t a problem until a month ago.

Ok, if the item isn’t actually showing up in your download history then that’s an Xbox issue, not something 343 Industries can handle. They have no control over your download history.

Can you try the link above and tell me if Halo: Reach is showing up to re-download there? If not, I’m afraid you’ll have to reach back out to Xbox Support and explain that an item has vanished from your download history.
